SHC on TV 2016

Spontaneous Human Combustion with Larry Arnold

MEDIA ALERT - December 28, 2016

CoastToCoastAM just called, asking that we guest on tonight's program. Topic initially will be Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC), of course. As it is Coast, the subject could range well beyond that.

George Noory usually takes calls and text questions. You have our encouragement to call in and comment and pose questions about spon-com.

Time block is 10PM-midnight PST, December 27th; or 1AM-3AM EST in the wee hours of December 18th on the East Coast. Adjust according for your own time zone, of course.

BTW, our friends Scott Portzline (from Harrisburg too) and Robert Schoch are scheduled for tomorrow night's Coast, December 28, talking about "Nuclear Disasters" and "Solar Storms & Ancient Civilizations", respectively. Two great people exploring two more provocative topics. Worth listening to!

Best for the end of your 2016 and for the beginning of 2017. Larry Arnold

Monday, October 17, 2016. 8-9AM and again 11AM-Noon EDT.
The Science Channel is rerunning 2x in one morning - a first? - the episode we did for its acclaimed "The Unexplained Files" series about "Spontaneous Human Combustion - Oklahoma, February 2013 - a man is reduced to a pile of ashes in his own home."  Just imagine, two times within four hours to confront - and annoy - the SHC debunkers. :) 60 Min. | PG

Saturday, September 24, 2016.

ScienceChannel is again running a marathon of its excellent "The Unexplained Files" series today - and again kindly includes Larry Arnold speaking about spontaneous human combustion (Season1 Episode 4), asking "Is Spontaneous Combustion Real?"

Today is your chance to see it again or catch it for the first time: Saturday, September 24, 2016, 1:00-2:00PM EDT.

The episode showcases for the first time publicly the story of Frank Baker, another person (among many we've interviewed) who says he is a witness to and survivor of SHC, along with another witness who backs up Mr. Baker's amazing claim. Frank closes the program with an eloquent statement about what is incumbent upon the phenomenon of SHC and what scientists - those with a mind open to the atypical - should be doing when it comes to truly investigating - not mind-set rejecting - any unconventional possibility (grin).

ScienceChannel is running another marathon of its excellent "The Unexplained Files" series on Friday, May 27 - this time 21 episodes from 3:00AM to midnight EDT - and has again included its program (Season1 Episode 4) about spontaneous human combustion, asking "Is Spontaneous Combustion Real?" Of course it is. It's when "Human" is inserted that the combustion becomes contentiously controversial, hotly debated, and viciously refuted.

If you have any interest in these eerie inflamings, now's your chance to see it again or catch it for the first time: Friday, May 27, 2016, 4:00-5:00PM EDT. (Ah, another civilized time slot, yea.)

The episode examines some classic SHC events, offers the standard "human-wick theory" to explain them away (you can decide if the theory is confirmed by its advocates), then showcases for the first time publicly the story of Frank Baker, another person (among many we've interviewed) who says he is a witness to and survivor of SHC, along with another witness who backs up Mr. Baker's amazing claim. The human-wick theory can't be in play here, if you accept to what these witnesses attest (grin).

Larry Arnold has a 1-hr radio interview for Al Warren's "House of Mystery" on KFNX in Phoenix, to air (we presume) this Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 9-10AM EDT.

Tuesday, January 19, 2016; 5:00-6:00PM EST
Science Channel will broadcast another marathon of its series "The Unexplained Files" on January 19, 2016, from 9:00AM-7:00PM EST.

Included is Season 1 Episode 4 ... "Spontaneous Human Combustion and Mexican Pilot UFO."

Carlos de los Santos/UFO - Pilot Carlos de los Santos recounts his mid air encounter with three UFO’s en route to Mexico City Airport. Spontaneous Human Combustion - Oklahoma, February 2013 - a man is reduced to a pile of ashes in his own home.

Larry consulted on and appears in the second-half of this program, discussing his research and investigations of the heatedly debated and officially denied phenomenon of SHC, the subject of his third book, ABLAZE! The Mysterious Fires of Spontaneous Human Combustion. For the first time, this program introduces viewers to the remarkable details of a fire fatality that occurred in eastern Oklahoma in early 2013 that baffled the local first-responders and the county sheriff, Ron Lockhart, whose two decades' experience as an arson investigator did not prepare him for the combustion enigma that he now had to investigate. Given its curious circumstances, Sheriff Lockhart is open to SHC as the explanation of this fatality in his jurisdiction.
